2022 Regular Season Finale
Game 16 (11-2-3)
18 October at Trinity in Wichita vs. Trinity at 7:00 (4-0)
In the 2022 season finale we road-tripped to Wichita to take on one of the 4A favorites in Trinity. It was also the Gabe Garcia return game—still waiting on John.
But Gabe looked great, and there we were again dominating the middle of the field.
We got off to a 2-0 first half lead as Kitts scored on a corner put-back from Liam before earning a PK that he missed but scored on.
The second half saw Kitts going baseline to T it back to Muckerman, and Young hit a cross so hard that he created an own goal.
Overall, we got the roster into the match for good minutes. Owen Kitts donned a varsity uniform for his first time, getting to play along side his brother the night he tied the overall Saint Thomas Aquinas soccer assist record.
If our record stands (and we should know by tomorrow), we will be entering playoffs as the #2 seed, flush with home games.
